“All religions are based in fictions: in hinduism it’s how after all the lives spent in samsara, the individuated soul-drop merges with the Ocean of Being and is lost forever; in judaism, it’s original sin and the existence of a jealous and vengeful God; in buddhism and modern scientism, it’s that individual consciousness is only an illusion created by the bodymind’s cathection of dualistic experience; in islam it’s that Allah rewards those who kill infidels and thereby receive 72 virgins in paradise; and in christianity it’s immaculate conception, virgin birth, and Jesus as the only savior son of God, not a son of man.”
